Mitsubishi Electric is committed to providing superior service and support over the operating life of all of our UPSs and peripherals. However over time, as technologies mature and components become obsolete, it ultimately becomes challenging and then no longer feasible to provide replacement parts, services, and support for legacy products. Fortunately, as Mitsubishi Electric continues to develop and introduce new technologies, customers will have the opportunity to update their critical power infrastructure and keep pace with higher uptime and efficiency expectations, increased loads, higher speed connectivity options, and tighter security requirements.
However, Mitsubishi Electric understands that a critical power upgrade or replacement needs to be a carefully planned event. Therefore we have published our Product Lifecycle Support Phases and Schedule so that customers can make well-informed decisions regarding the maintenance, updating, and upgrading of their Uninterruptible Power Supplies and associated peripherals. Customers with products in Best Effort Support or Obsolete Lifecycle phases are encouraged to contact us or a Mitsubishi Electric representative to further discuss the risks of maintaining their current systems against the benefits of migrating to newer and fully supported solutions.
Active Support – Full technical support and all replacement parts are available. Product is currently in production and available as new.
Sustained Support – Full technical support and all replacement parts are expected to be available until the announced end of support date.
Best Effort Support - Limited technical support, field services, and replacement parts are available until the announced end of support date.
Obsolete – Announced end of support date has passed. Technical support and replacement parts are no longer available.
